Texas Looks To Remove Abandoned Barges Near Galveston |

Officials in Texas are hoping to find funding to remove at least a dozen decaying or partially sunken barges in Dickinson Bay near Galveston. The barges are not leaking, but are no longer in service. Dickinson Bay is a Federal waterway, but since it is not an active shipping channel, no Federal funds have been allocated to remove the barges.

Jose Francisco Nazario, Crowley Maritime's Director of Finance will serve as Vice President of the Puerto Rico Shipping Association. Nazario had previously served as the group's secretary. The group's main purpose is to study and respond to issues that affect stevedoring and shipping companies, agents and industry suppliers in Puerto Rico. Nazario has more than 26 years of maritime experience. Crowley Maritime has served Puerto Rico since 1954 and has more than 200 employees based in Puerto Rico.

Steve Demeroutis has joined Crowley Maritime as the Director of Labor Relations. Demeroutis comes to Crowley Maritime from the United Inland Group of the International Organization of Masters, Mates and Pilots.

El Paso Moves To Create A New Port Of Entry |

El Paso County is obtaining land for a new international bridge. The proposed site is near the Fabens port of entry. Construction could begin as early as 2010 and would take about six months to complete.

I just thought I would pop in to see how everybodys doing, and I went to see if my picture was still in here. I got my hair did, and im going to put my new picture up when I can. I opened up that gallery, and saw some fine looking white man yall calling Catfish Lee. He looks like he dont play, with his strong chin and those boots. I was just wondering why you call him a Catfish, and if he needs my digits??? Heyyyy! |
