A man suffered minor injuries in a two-alarm fire on a 120-foot tugboat in Elliott Bay, tonight, a Seattle Fire Department spokeswoman said.

The fire, at 1711 13th Ave. S.W. on Harbor Island, was reported shortly after 7 p.m.

Fire Department spokeswoman Dana Vander Houwen said the fireboat Leschi was dispatched to fight the blaze, which was extinguished within an hour.

She said the tug, the Corbin Foss, was initially out in the water attached to a barge, and was towed into dock to allow firefighters better access from shore. Firefighters used water and chemical foam to extinguish the blaze, she said.

The injured man was not identified.
