From KVIA: EL PASO, TX. - El Paso County Commissioners are taking steps to obtain the land needed for a new international bridge. The desired site is near the Fabens port of entry - so it would be the Easternmost crossing in the county. Commissioner Miguel Teran says he's been working for the last 12 years with the American and Mexican governments on building the port. Teran says he's not ruling out the use of eminent domain if it is required in order to gain the necessary land. County Judge Anthony Cobos spoke up to discourage thinking that way.
