The European Transport Workers' Federation protested the growing use of nonunion workers on European ferries. Citing a 19 percent increase in the use of nonunion workers and the corresponding drop in the use of unionized labor, the ETFW protested by showing Members of the European Pariliament why the use of nonunion labor, especially on passenger ferries, is dangerous.
